So I finally buckled down and made myself work at something, and here it is, oh joy!
It's very basic and rather sketchy, but I'm obviously still in the learning process  A picture was referenced (well, two very similar pictures actually) for the whole thing including the shadows, and I tried to get it as close as possible. If anyone has the time for it, tips are quite welcome, as I am trying to learn more and continue to grow in my artistic abilities =] |

Thankfully I was given some instruction on drawing simple eyes, before that it was one of the most difficult things for me to manage, at least now they look fairly human
yeah eyes are so hard, but these do look good. I need to work more on mine...
